Our Meetings
We meet regularly to validate, support and supervise all IDHP courses and facilitators. The IDHP is a virtual organisation in the sense that we have no head office. Our meeting times and venues are negotiated and arranged by the group members. Recently we have been meeting monthly in London and Oxfordshire.
Graduates of the diploma course and guests of the group are welcome to attend and should contact a group member for details and dates. Meeting expenses are shared. There may be opportunities for intervision (peer supervision) on the day.
Our meetings balance our need for “business” and “process” i.e. reviewing and giving feedback on courses and reflection on how we are working together. We cover both business – updating ourselves on courses and procedures - and giving time to relational and process issues.
Our agenda might include:
- Check-in
- Forming an Agenda for the day
- Receiving course up-dates and reports from ongoing projects; considering general proposals or envisioning future activities etc
- Undertaking self and peer assessment as and when needed; giving and receiving intervision; group facilitation and feedback.
